Our experienced team has designed more than 10 complete sulphate removal systems for offshore installations world wide. We will guide you all the way to the first drop of water in the reservoir. Our expertice on optimized use of correct chemicals will ensure a green signature on the whole process system.
Build it.
The envelope for process packages are never equal, creativity and knowledge about safety standards are necessities when designing and fabricating a process system. A sound philosophy on lifting, weight optimization, material handling and efficient fabrication will contribute to competitiveness and short delivery time of skids and modules. Our team has worked on fabrication sites world wide and have a strong focus on safety, based on experience. Vulkan Engineering have also developed soft ware solutions for continuous condition monitoring of the KPIs in the complete seawater treatment system. The SW solutions will be adapted to your platform as a part of the project. Vulkan has also patented valves which will ensure no dead legs in the system, this will minimize the need for heat tracing in cold areas and biological growth in warm areas.
Start it.
Our team have extensive experience from Mechanical Completion, Commissioning and start up of several sea water treatment systems on offshore installations world wide. Fine tuning are essensial in the early phase to prevent scaling and biological growth which can be nearly impossible to remove later on. Knowhow about the basic physics, mechanical equipment as well as the membrane behaviour and limitations will get you up and going faster, with shorter periods of trouble shooting.
Maintain it.
By implementing our Condition Monitoring solutions you can plan you maintenance, membrane cleaning and equipment renewal based on the output data from our algorithm. We capture and process all relevant KPIs in our algorithm so that events can be foreseen weeks in advance, this will ensure a minimum of manning on a daily basis and long lead items can be obtained so that uptime is secured. Seawater is perhaps the most potent and corrosive medium over time, and optimized chemical dozing is a key to stabil operation. We can design systems with zero discharge of “red” and “yellow” chemicals to sea.
